Now Ferrister Hall is open to the public and Lady Jennifer sets out to let America know all about its attractions, with astonishing results. The pupils from Bossfield High School intend to make their mark and the former members of Colonel Carter's Colossal Circus move onto bigger and better things, but still remain dedicated to good teamwork and manage to surprise the entertainment world. Lord Ferrister's dogs continue to liven up the scene and donkey and raven, the old circus partners, become even more temperamental and make it clear that they intend to stay retired.
