5A great story for kids of all ages!  Oct 02, 2009

This is an enlightening story for kids of all ages! "We're All Special" is very well written with beautiful illustrations throughout. It's a great story to help children understand the issue of bullying and how to handle and remedy it. It also teaches teamwork and how "we are all special" in our own unique ways! I enjoyed reading this to my children ages 7-10 and they also enjoyed the detailed artwork.

5A solidly recommended read that should not be ignored  Nov 20, 2009
By Midwest Book Review
Being special is nothing special. "We're All Special" is a children's story about how peaceful woodland creatures butt heads with a new neighbor who feels more entitled to his place in their community. A story of facing bullies, "We're All Special" is a fine read with colorful illustrations and large text for easy reading, making for a solidly recommended read that should not be ignored.

5Beautiful Story With A Great Message  Oct 06, 2009
By KL
A wonderful story that carries a message about bullying. It is beautifully written. I loved the characters. Children can especially relate to the animals and how they eventually accept the "newcomer" to the forest. It is a short story that carries a powerful message, about acceptance, bullying and self-esteem! I am the Mentor Coordinator of an elementary school and will recommend this to all our Mentors to read to their Mentees. Children of all ages will delight in this story.
