HILARIOUS!! Sep 19, 2009
By Todd Hagopian
"CEO of the Hagopian Institute - Author of the popular 'Quote Junkie' series and the brand new 'Idiom Junkie' series"
This book is awesome! I bought this for my girlfriend based on a co-worker recommendation, but ended up buying another copy for myself after I flipped through it the first time. The chapters are hilarious and feature real quotes from normal people about hilarious topics. Some of the chapters include things like: "When to call after the 'first time'", "Living together: Is someone stalling?", and finally "if a woman asks, what does it mean?"
I was dying laughing, and I purposefully leave this book out on my table so that my friends start flipping through it. We end up spending hours joking around with each other about our girlfriends...then when the girlfriends come over we let them read it so that we can go off and watch sports while they make fun of us for a couple of hours.
Bottom line: You will get your money's worth with this book. Kudos to the author.
Enjoy!

Universal Truth: No Universal Truth...yet Sep 13, 2009
By herman bennett I've known the author (Kathy to me, Kat to you) for more than four decades. During that time we've talked about relationships for hundreds, maybe thousands, of hours. My degree in psychology did not help out at all. Neither did Kathy's off the charts IQ. Nor did picking apart our own relationships or those of every successful and every unsuccessful relationship of everyone we knew. But our shared interest in trying to figure out what works and what doesn't work kept the chatter going. We tried to find The Universal Truth as to what is right or wrong.
Unlikely. But we're still trying, still interested, and still smiling about all of it.
Kathy's keen sense of humor and wonderful writing puts it all in perspective in her book. She still makes me laugh out loud and think deep thoughts at the same time. Sure, we agree on some things and disagree about others regarding relationships, but that's kinda the point of the book -- so many facets for so many people complicate it but lead to these conclusions: when it's right, it's right; when it works, it works. And conversely. And that goes from first blush to last breath.
It is not the counselors, therapists, psychologists or medications that can figure it out for us (okay, okay - they can all help to some extent, with some people, some of the time...maybe). It's up to the `ordinary' people to answer Kathy's questions. And their own.
And, by the way, if Kathy and I do figure out The Universal Truth, she will let you know. In the meantime, enjoy this book. And enjoy your life.

Refreshing and Useful Advice for Dating Sep 10, 2009
By Michelle Finally, a very practical guide to dating that is refreshing in its approach, an enjoyable read with a nice sense of humor throughout... with so much energy spent on trying to meet the right person, and not wasting your time on lookie-loos in the dating scene, this book is a must read.
