What If?: A Beginners Course In Exploring The Quantum Question Of Consciousness

What If – was written for teenagers because... such a thing hasn’t been written for teenagers before now. That doesn’t mean it’s not for everybody. It means - it is Regardless of age, this course is a unique and entertaining exploration of your mind and your world, an experiential journey through concept and practice designed to stretch you to the edge of your imagination and drop you off happy. It’s about change. It’s about invisible energies and their very visible effects, from the influence of anger on DNA to Mozart on mice to interactive electromagnetic fields, Einstein’s brain, the present moment and laughing for no reason. It connects the dots between colonizing Mars and conscious breathing, peripheral vision to multiple dimensions, pH levels, smashing atoms, the power of sound and language and half way to just about anything you can wrap your head around, because... that's what the beginning of exploring consciousness (and it’s most desirable states) is all about.

5What If? (Life is much different than you thought it was?)  Oct 04, 2009
By Daniel J. Perin
Fasten your seat belts and hang on! Author Jack McDaniel is about to take you on the ride of your life. The author demonstrates over and over again by way of recorded histories of scientific research that what we DO that we BELIEVE in will produce EFFECTS after the character of that process. He brings together such techniques as expanded sensory awareness, meditation, intention, quantum mechanics, and scientific experimentation. In using these techniques he causes us to consider the common denominator of all creative effort - belief - particularly a belief in happiness as opposed to unhappiness. We are moved through the pages building an integrated view of everything.

What if everything you have always believed in is not true? Readers are constantly challenged with questions like this one in order to get us to dig deeper into our consciousness for new answers. You will examine the power of choice in your life and gain immeasurable insights as to how many places in life there are opportunities for a different choice. Some of the results of his hypotheses will be challenging to accept, but if you can, for just an instant, open your mind to a possibility other than your preconceived notion of how things work, you will gain insights obtainable through no other process.

Jack writes this material not as though he "remembers" it from having studied the information, but rather as though he IS the information, which seems to be the point of it all. We ARE the Reality, but for the most part, just don't realize it yet!

I am so tempted to give away the information in the last pages that brings this brilliant work to its final focus, but I won't do that for you, because the preceding steps--all of them--are necessary for the reality to fully make sense.

The author, through the pages of this book ultimately forces you to consider your life, your being from a new vantage point--even if it is only because of the literary style that overwhelms you and requires seeing ideas in print differently from the so-called "norm."

Pay attention! If you do, by the time you reach the last page you will be a different person. You will understand what you are all about and happiness will take on a whole new meaning for you.

5A Breath of Fresh Air  Mar 16, 2010

This book offers the reader a chance to " behind the scenes" of what we understand as the self, and explore more fully this concept where we fit in with each other - and the whole theatre of Life as we know it.

It is a book relevant to all, and could be regarded as essential reading for all if we are to move on into a more complete understanding of conscious creation as opposed to being flung around by the winds of change.

It is written in a manner that steers you through such a complex story with each small bite giving food for thought that will sustain you throughout the day in both wonder and amazement, and certainly creates colourful discussion.

If you ever read Bruce Lipton's book "The Biology of Belief" this book will take you much further and I recommend this for all New Age Thinkers, students of any kind, teachers of any kind and sceptics of all kinds.

Very highly recommended.

5What If... you don't read this book?  Mar 15, 2010

3Weird Format  Jan 16, 2010

If you can get over the unusual punctuation and writing style, it is a good book. Trust me, it is a weird format.
