Whatever Happened To Onetime?

This volume of 50+ poems marries familiar literary structures with the contemporary themes both through rhyme and free verse. Agarwal's travel to India, the UK, Italy, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Denmark, and many places within the U.S., and her poignant and timeless reflections of daily human life will leave every reader both amused or pensive, line by line and poem after poem. The American genre of poetry has been hungry for such talent for many years---elements of tradition combined with rebellious thinking. Agarwal educates, inspires, and entertains via her carefully crafted word choices-- bringing poetry to a new level of interest in the 21st Century! (Look for Volume Two, soon to be out in print!)

5FIT FOR THE CLASSROOM!  Jan 18, 2006
By Cammie Archer
FINALLY a collection of American poetry with allusions to the old traditions and absent of profanity! THAT was refreshing! I loved this collection, especially the poem about the temptations out in cyberspce, but it would be hard to choose a favorite.
It is a great paperback and I will look into ordering some copies for my class in the Fall.

5Delightfully eclectic---  Jun 08, 2006
By Anne Hill
I enjoyed this lovely tapestry of short poems, woven with threads from India to Florida to upstate New York and Cyberspace. Yet somehow the poet reveals a subtle common fabric of whimsy, humor, and deep compassion. You will remember several of these verses for a long time...
