" When God Says Wait" is an excellent resource for anyone who desires to draw nearer to the heart of God instead of simply wondering when the answers to life's questions might come. Many believers have totally missed the point of how God uses suffering as a prelude to glory in our lives. Pastor Darryl Harris has used his time in God's classroom to remind us that instead of seeking quick answers when our expectations are not met, we should intensify our efforts to experience God as we praise Him for His goodness and abundant grace in our lives"

Outstanding book! I am so weary of our culture's (& my) invitation to use God instead of worship Him in difficulty. Your book celebrates a far deeper awareness of God's purposes for our lives, in both highs and lows. This pulls us toward maturity and denial of self. Thanks for your transparency. God's work in your life is powerful.
I especially liked your emphasis on waiting, and that waiting has purpose. In the past couple years God has convicted me that while I have long believed God's sovereignty, I have not always embraced His sovereignty.
May your book, just as your life, expand His kingdom and please the King!

I have known Pastor Darryl Harris for most of my life. We went to the same elementary school and played hard and fair on the legendary hard courts of Washington Park, East Orange, NJ.
Pastor Harris' book - "When God Says Wait", as I look back, is a culmination of his life and his gifts. Darryl was always the calm during the storm, displaying unquestioned character, strength, kindness, humor and humility during good times and bad. Through his book, he has shared his weaknesses, strengths, compassion, integrity and strong faith, to help others on their journey through life.
I am honored to call him my friend. I recommend buying his book and sharing with someone you call a friend.
