When you just can't say good-bye, don't Jun 24, 2009
By Jill Bartuch This was a beautifully written book. It described the journey that Maria took after the horrific accident that took her young son's life 6 years ago until now. She shared the lowest moments and how she rose from the pain. It was raw and heart wrenching to read, but yet beautifully done at the same time. You really could feel her pain. She also made you realize that you truly can move on with your life and keep your loved one with you. That is how I would want to move forward as well. She will help so many with this heartfelt book. I highly recommend it and have sent it on to my family to read.

Enlightening and empowering Jun 19, 2009
By Lori D. Maria shares her journey with such honesty and wisdom that readers gain a transcendent knowledge about life itself. Whether or not you have experienced the loss of a child, the book sheds light on dealing with the loss of a loved one. Maria shares the ways in which her family celebrates and keeps the memory of their beloved son alive with them. It's an uplifting story of courage and perseverance and a family's eternal love and remembrance of their son that fate cannot alter. If I could, I would give it 10 stars.

The Joy of finding your son again May 07, 2011
By Bonnie This book has taken me from depression to the joy of having my son with me everyday. I would recommend it for every grieving mother. When I first lost my Josh. I was sad, angry yet had to be strong. I wanted to die but that is not an opportunity my Josh would accept. Yet, when I was alone I cried endlessly. Then one day I found this book while searching for a birthday present for my older son. I knew that my sweet Josh led me here but was not sure why. It didn't take more than a few pages to know why this wonderful book was placed in my hands. Though Joshua was 26 years old and Steven was only 11 years old, they both had a love for life. I was walking the path that Maria was speaking. She has been a mentor to me. She has confirmed that the signs from my son are real. I will always remember the photo of the two hearts. That image alone is priceless. As I was reading the last pages on the first anniversary of Josh's birthday to heaven, I suddenly saw the beautiful smile of Steven. Incidentally, I had used a photo of Josh as my page marker and there they were side by side with the same beautiful smile! Thank you Maria for helping me find a way to dance in the rain.

By Cheryl M. Stanton Our four year old Grandson died 13 days before Christmas. This book helped me to semi understand what my son and daughter in law are going through. It helped me to find ways, and understand why, we will always keep Danny alive in more ways than just our memories. At a very difficult time it showed that others have survived this tragedy and have helped others to make good come out of it.
