Get a Laugh Mar 05, 2009
By T. Kingsley

In order to appreciate this or any humor book, you actually need to have a sense of humor to begin with. My husband and I both got a kick out of it.
Wish i could return it Feb 06, 2009
By Daniela Regier I am still looking for the funny part in this book. I don't see where this woman is a "superwoman" - I just see examples of a people pleaser who is walked over by others. Her attitude that animals are disposable horrified me. My bookclub read it and none of us cared for it. For the person looking for more - I know 12 people who would love to get rid of their copies.
Changed My Mind - I'm Buying More Copies Of This Book To Give To Friends May 18, 2008
By Sam I Am I have to say that I personally didn't like this book, but it has been passed around from one friend to another, and half of them raved about it, enjoyed it and said that they really identified with Lilli Putian. In fact, it's time to buy more copies, as they keep disappearing, ending up on bookshelves instead of being passed to the next reader in the group.
The like/dislike is almost equally divided. Those who liked the book really really liked it, and those who didn't like it really hated it. The author speaks most strongly to those mothers who are either home with their kids or able to work at a job with an employer that works around their schedules. The ones who are stuck in jobs they hate and who are unhappy being away from their kids during the day said they didn't get the point of this book, and a few even suggested that the author was clueless.
So there you have it: my greatly revised personal review of this book. It will make a great gift for a woman who is happy where she is right now, but it might not be such a good book to offer a woman who is going through a heavy personal crisis. If you're grieving or struggling to get by in life, and happy people are really annoying you right now, or if you're wondering why the sun is still shining, this book won't help ease your pain.
Well worth the read. Feb 28, 2008
By Hal This is an anthology of fun stories, well written. Who can argue with a "Laughter is the best medicine" viewpoint of life? Any reminder is well worth the price I spend.
HILARIOUS Feb 28, 2008
By Amy Black Gals, this is a laugh every paragraph. People on the airplane thought I was nuts laughing out loud to myself. I don't even have kids and I loved it.
