White Gazelle

L I F E S U M M A R Y O F R I C H A R D H. E W I N G Richard Herman Ewing was born in 1963 to James Francis Ewing I and Mary Anna Lee. Richard grew up a young black male in the seventies living in the San Francisco Bay Area. In that time racial inequality was rampant and being black was a problem. He was told that he would end up either in prison or dead. Because he believed that idea, Richard found himself in and out of Juvenile halls and group homes. He was abused and mistreated badly. He eventually returned home only to realize that the bay area was caught in the drug scene. In the eighties crack cocaine was rampant and he almost died from an overdose of the drug. He eventually cleaned his life up after realizing that everything was happening to him was based on the choices he made. This is why he decided to become an author. He believes if he could help one youth understand that life is about the choices we make, it might help him or her to make the right choice. He thanks Jehovah God for everything that he is. If you’ve purchase the book “White Gazelle” he only asks that on Amazon.com, please leave a detail review. Please give your honest opinion. To him the review is very important. On behalf of R.H. Ewing he thanks you.

4Written with great Compassion & Conviction very Inspirational  Jul 26, 2008
This book is a must read. Very inspirational. I would highly recommend this book for teens and young adults who are trying to find their purpose in life. I could not put this book down, I could not wait to see how Storm was going to turn her life around. This story is a story of Love, hope & Trust. I rated it four stars only because of grammatical errors.
Great Book! You can make it thru any "STORM" that life brings you., it's about the choices we make, young and old.

4A compelling, gritty, inspirational book  Nov 21, 2006
This story is geared towards young adults who are struggling to figure out what their place is going to be in this world, what they want to do with their lives, etc. It's an inspirational tale that does not pull any punches. It feels real; the author knows the streets, yet is able to convey this environment without resorting to strong language and other things that may not be considered appropriate for young readers.

I knocked it down a star because it needs another round of editing. You do have to get past some grammatical errors to enjoy this book. If you can, it'll be one of those books you won't be able to put down.
