I just wish that this book could be translated into dog-barks and other animal lingos. This is excellent dog philosophy that had proved its trans-species magic by having me search the local paper for discount coupons for that return trip to heaven. And I was a human - and an atheist. Still human now (even if a little more in touch now with my inner French Bulldog) but with a new perspective on heaven that I can't stop sharing with my grandkids. Hegel, Schopenhauer or Wittgenstein are no match for little Bijoux's first hand experience that resulted in such surprising intellectual rigor and clarity. Seriously - this one is not to be missed.

Why Bijoux Believes in Heaven is a precious story that makes the scary and hard to explain concept of heaven...all of a sudden, not so scary. I love the page that shows all of the dogs together in Heaven. I want to believe it's really like this. I am purchasing a book for every child I know, so they can read it to their parents.
