Why Can't I be the President When I Grow Up

Little Elijah learned how to say the Pledge of Allegiance on his first day in class. When he began to question the teacher as to why there had never been a black president in america. Eager to change America's way of thinking, he said, "When I grow up I will run for office, and become America's first black president," The classroom began to chuckle. A young boy named Elijah had hopes in dreams of growing up and becoming America's first black president.He hoped one day to witness a change in america for fairness and equality.
