Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Wine Aug 13, 2007
Miss Jane simplifies the complicated mystery of wine in this outstanding fun reading book of wine basics. She is delightfully humorous and instills you with an easy to follow outline to describe wine as if you were a true wine coinsurer or at least knowing something others don't. I always wondered about why I like some wines and not others but could never describe it with real words. With Miss Jane's book, I now have a working vocabulary to not only describe what a wine tastes and smells like but I can read a wine list and know what wine I will really like and even pick a wine for others. If you want an easy and quick reference to learning the basics of wine this is a must read book you will keep handy. If you ever get a chance to attend any of her classes be sure to do it, she is just as delightful in person and makes learning a blast, of course after the fourth glass of wine, everyone is funny and is good looking :-)

Miss Jane has been teaching classes in Austin, TX for years! I've had the privilege to participate in her classes and had her speak at my organization. Her style and approach is fun, yet very educational. I'm just starting on the book now but I've taken her WineSpeak 101 class in the past. Before, I couldn't come up with a description of a glass of wine to save my life. Using what I've learned I can come up with a description that rivals the back of any wine bottle. I highly recommend this book! And if you ever get a chance to attend one of Miss Jane's seminars, do it!
