Wolf Song Visions - 2nd Reading Aug 25, 2009
By Ann Vandrick The essence of the book thrummed my senses. I was moved anew by the intensity, sincerity, awareness, power, magic and love of the story.
That Scott and Linda have been able to integrate this "knowing" into their current incarnations speaks volumes about their powerful spirits. Their amazing journey continues!
What a blessing they both are to Mother Earth and all of her inhabitants. One hundred thousand thank-yous; the second time around was even richer and yummier than the first.

BOOK: Wolf Song Visions AUTHOR: Scott Reade and Linda Reade PUBLISHER: Book Surge ISBN-13: 978-1439233993 RATING: 4 stars BOOK REVIEW by Leigh-Ann Lemire
Some subjects have been rejected in decades past. Living in a more modern society, taboo subjects have started to be spoken about. One such subject has been living other lifetimes. Sometimes Hollywood will turn out a movie on the subject as entertainment but it is hardly ever that one gets to read a thorough accounting of a life lived in the past.
Wolf Song Visions is one book that will keep you turning the pages with not one but two accounts of past lives with the two people able to recount in detail the life that was shared over three hundred years ago.
Not only was the lifetime recalled and written in detail, there are many messages that are to be learned. One especially is that Mother Earth did have an advanced civilization three hundred years ago - the Native American Indian. You will be impressed by the methods that were used by this incredible people to live, to heal and to flourish along with nature. It was lessons that the white man did not learn then and now has to in order to solve the predicaments created by "modern" man.
You will want to read this book as it is an interesting page turning story. You will be impressed by the details, the care that was taken to live well while taking care of the earth and most importantly, you will want to read the story to find out the special message.

I had high hopes for this book but came away a little disappointed. It is not that the book is bad but it comes across better as a work of fiction rather than how it is being billed as a true story. Not everyone will believe it as such unless you are well grounded in Native American (Lakhota)beliefs. It follows the lives of Kahla and Lela via the journal's of authors Linda and Scott Reade. Along the way you will experience the Native American way of life , mostly in the mystical experiences that you will either believe or feel that they are too far out there to be believed. The journey of Lela and Kahla has some parallels to contemporary Western beliefs and Christianity but it is definitely tied and rooted in the Native American belief system. This book will take you on an adventure to places deep beyond the realm of usual perceptions. Think Carlos Castenada without all the mind altering effects. If you are really into Native American culture you may like this book, otherwise, if you are unsure this might just push you over the edge. You will land either a believer or non believer, myself I was not totally captivated so I came away as before,a skeptic who believes some supernatural things can happen. I'm just sure all these things transpired or will come to be. Maybe some of the events are real and the rest were embellished for publishing purposes is my best guess. To the books credit it comes with a nice Lakhota glossary and a good message concerning the possiblity of peace in the coming age. In conclusion, if you like terms like mother Earth, reincarnation, visions, great Spirit, sacred hoop of Life and the Other Side than this your cup of tea. I would recommend this to those inclined to spiritual Native American stories or possibly the concept of "channeling."
