Women to Women is doing for me what so many fitness books have failed to do - encouraging me to get active and stay active, and helping me focus on overall well-being and health, rather than the daily ups and downs of the scale. With sections on nutrition, getting fit, exercising and goal setting, the book helps the reader determine her own style and pace of activity and path towards fitness, and shows one how to approach the aging years with energy, confidence, and enthusiasm. While keeping an eye on being sensible and safe, the book maps out a plan for developing an enjoyable, rewarding active lifestyle that is possible to stick to throughout the years. And, it's filled with tons of helpful, down-to-earth advice on how to keep being active as the years roll on. This book is an invaluable resource and is a celebration of the benefits that come from being active throughout aging. Read it, and get moving and motivated!

This is a wonderful book for women of all ages. The authors have experienced Active Aging and encourage you to follow their advice. There is a great deal of accurate and scientific information about diet and exercise that is easy to understand. Helping one to set realistic goal that make sense as one ages was comforting to read. I will recommend this book to all my woman friends and family members.

As a female in my mid sixties trying to maintain an appropriate level of fitness that I can actually accomplish, I found this book to be a realistic, sometimes funny, always encouraging way to work towards my goals of being as healthy as I can through my own efforts. Not all of us are those curvaceous babes with the rock hard abs but we do want to be as fit as realistically possible. This book will help you in your quest.
