Women's Voices: An Anthology

The Write Sisters, nine women ranging in age from the 30’s to the 70’s have compiled their works in an anthology. They met in a Creative Writing Class and began sharing their writing and lives. The anthology reflects the perspectives of each of these women with humor, sadness, and real-life drama in their works of fiction and non-fiction, prose and poetry. Most of the women in the group are retired from careers and families and have the time and energy now to write. They reflect on life and hope to pass on to readers their thoughts on family, grief, friendship, life passages, nature, and love. With women’s intellect and savvy they raise their voices with depth of thought and experience, tenor of authority, intensity of curiosity and excitement. Through the sounds of their voices in this anthology the Write Sisters hope to pass along their thoughts, experiences and life lessons. They write to affirm their belief that it is never too late for their voices to be heard.
