Worth Remembering: the future value of old ideas

Worth Remembering is a book about looking back before we look forward. It's based on the notion that real progress doesn't come from change, it comes from knowing how to make good choices between tradition and change. There's value in looking back to find the lessons of history, to read old ideas that stand the test of time. This book presents 324 timeless old ideas that can help us understand and explore the new ones.

5Past is prologue  Jan 01, 2010
By Jeffrey A. Krukin
Simply put, this is an enjoyable read, made all the more so by Mr. Zach's personal comments on the quotations of historical figures. With the future so unpredictable and sometimes unsettling, it's helpful to remember some pearls from the past that can provide comfort for our often hectic and uncertain lives.

So take a break, pour your favorite beverage, curl-up in your comfy chair, and enjoy the new thoughts that will ripple through your mind as you delve into the past through the eyes of those who lived it.
