IActuate is an inspirational book Dec 14, 2008
By Robert G Yokoyama IActuate is an easy book to read. This book is filled with things people can do to live happier and more efficient lives. These 100 ideas are spread out over 100 days. A person can read one thought a day, or they can simply read the entire book at once. One thing is for certain. These thoughts will stick with you. After each thought, Aranmolate provides specific things a person can do for their health like eating a healthy breakfast or doing some form of physical exercise. I really like the idea of mental compartmentalization. This is the idea of focusing on one problem at a time. This can help me a lot in my busy life. Sheg takes a positive slant on hitting rock bottom in life. Hitting rock bottom can motivate a person to turn their life around. Another important lesson to remember is to simply treat people with compassion and to appreciate the differences in other human beings. I really enjoyed reading this book.

Fantastic, universal advice from a talented young writer Sep 11, 2008
By D. Dorset Sheg's new book iACTUATE is a collection of 100 potent mini-essays written in a blog-style format. Each day's entry focuses on a particular topic of relevance to everyday situations. Each entry introduces the topic by way of a quote from a sage. The main portion of the entry is a two-paragraph discussion in which Sheg discusses either an experience or his personal thoughts on the subject. Sheg then follows up with a clever metaphor that provides food for thought for nearly anyone, regardless of background or beliefs.
The power of Sheg's book lies in his down-to-earth and earnest writing style. If everyone took Sheg's advice, the world would be a much happier, productive, and pleasant place in which to live. Each essay is followed with a short checklist of quick activities to help improve the health of the mind and body, as well as a space for personal reflections on the topic.
Sheg's book stands out from the rest of the motivational genre in that his advice and wisdom is highly personal, yet transcends beliefs and niches to provide something everyone can benefit from. At the very least, it's an enjoyable read. But it will undoubtedly change the lives of many for the better.

By Elizabeth A. Clarke iActuate is a simple way to motivate yourself and in doing so, you come to appreciate your life.My son just graduated from college and is trying to discover what he should do with his life. I passed on this jewel to him and he really loves the daily writings for a great start to his day. This book will make an excellent gift for the college graduate.
Great and truly inspirational Oct 01, 2009
By F. Balogun This book gives you a short read in the morning that goes a long way throughout your day. The inspiration derived from spending 5minutes in the morning with this book has helped me become a better individual and more focused person. You suddenly find yourself lifting others up with your spirits and overcoming obstacles regularly. Everyone should have a copy on their bedside table and one in the office. Great job Olusegun, this is a beautiful piece of work.
